Reports

Post by scrat »

Hi team,
as much as I search I don't see that it's possible to generate reports for Veeam Backup for Azure, neither with Veeam ONE, nor with the integration with VBR, nor within the Veeam Backup for Azure tool (as for example VBO365 does).

Is there possibility to generate reports? Job History, Storage Consumption,...

Thanks,
Regards.

Hi,

Veeam ONE has several reports for public cloud workloads.

Another option is to benefit from the public REST API available within VB for Azure and create custom reports based on your needs.

Hello scrat,

To be precise in Veeam ONE besides the Protected Cloud Instances report there are Backup Inventory and Backup Infrastructure Custom Data reports that contain data from VB for Azure. There is one more we are waiting for in the next release.

Thanks

Thanks team! Although for external repositories (as for example VBA's repos) the used space are empty (0.00). Is it a know issue?

In a blob storage used for SOBR the used space is shown.
In a blob storage used for VBA the used space is 0.00.

Regards.

Is the same in VBR, when you configure the plugin for VBA in the "external repositories" the "use space" is empty "N/A".

Ok, seems that only show data usage for Azure VMs (I only have SQL instances).

To start working with backups created by Veeam Backup for AWS, Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure and Veeam Backup for Google Cloud, you must add a repository that contains backups of Amazon EC2 instances, Azure VMs or Google Cloud VMs to the Veeam Backup & Replication infrastructure as an external repository.
