Service Bus

Post by mwirz »

hi there

we've noticed that the v4 version of veeam for azure deploys a azure service bus in premium tier which costs about $ 0.9 per hour. this means around $ 650.- cost just for the service bus!

is this required by design or a mistake?

best regards
mike

Hi, Mike. Looks like the Premium Tier is an Azure requirement for the usage of private virtual networks. See the last sentence in the Important chapter. Thanks!

Yes, this is required only if you want to run your appliance in the private network deployment. This requirement comes from Microsoft Azure. You don't need to enable it if your current deployment meets all your needs.
