Hi,
In the scenario where we back-up onpremises with VBR ( vSphere or Hyper-V ), we create back-ups ( based of GFS ) to a SOBR with object storage in the capacity tier. Having these back-ups in the capacity tier are we able to connect this in Veeam Backup for Azure as a back-up repository ?
Other questions :
- Can we perform file level restores based on these Object Storage back-ups ?
- if we can import these back-ups and can we restore machines directly to Azure ?
thanks !

Re: Usability VBR ( vsphere / Hyper-V ) SOBR Object storage backups for restoration in Azure
VB for Azure is unable to see backups created by VBR so you won’t be able toe restore from them via VBA.

So basically installing VBR in an Azure VM, will give you the option to restore from Objectstorage to Azure / FLR ?
