Re: VBA V2 update to V3
Hi Andre,
It was published a while ago already and should be available. If you did a refresh via the updater and nothing is shown, there may be something wrong underneath and I suggest you to contact support to see what causes this. Could you let us know the case ID if you do open a case?

Re: VBA V2 update to V3
Hi Niels
Thanks for the Information. I just logged in again and it shows me that there are updates available, but when i open the updater, it says "up to date". and if i search vor updates, no new updates found. When i login to ssh, it displays that 80 updates are available... i now rebootet the appliance but the result is the same. i'll open a case then
best regards

Re: VBA V2 update to V3
ok, what i suspected was confirmed by support. VBR is connected to VBA. And VBR is on Version 11 and not Version 11a. So that is the reason why i not see the updates, VBA3 is not compatible with VBR11.
i would have expected that a message is displayed like "You need to update VBR to V11a first" and not just showing no Updates... I mean, its veeam, they are to smart normaly to not showing such a message...
Anyway after VBR Update it should work...

Thanks for the feedback, Andre! We will see what we can do in our next releases to make it more clear in the UI.

Re: VBA V2 update to V3
Had the same issue...
Updated Veeam B&R from 11 to 11a.
Veeam Backup for Azure that was added in the Veeam console said: 'Update required', but when clicking on 'Update', I got an error 'No update available'.
Tried the update to v3 from the web interface, but also gave me a message: update available, but when looking at the updates I got message 'Up to date'...
Had to remove the Veeam Backup for Azure appliance from Veeam B&R, then I could update VBA to v3 (from the web interface).
When update was finished, re-added the appliance in Veeam B&R....

Hi Bert, thanks for sharing. As Vitaliy stated, we'll look into improving this for sure for the next update/release.

Re: VBA V2 update to V3
I was also not able to update VBA from V2 to V3 after i had VBR on 11a. It was not possible in VBR and also not in VBA (no updates were showing). I opened a case and received an action plan how to update via ssh console. Worked well.

Andre, also thanks for reporting the same issue. Can you provide me with the case ID so we can analyze it internally?
