Hello,
Trying to create Worker and then repository for VBA in our subscription, we noticed the worker status as failed.
Looking at its status :
Ok VM size Standard_A1_v2 exists in the given region.
Ok Current VM size has enough memory.
Ok The Virtual Network 'tier0-vnet' exists in default subscription.
Ok The Subnet 'private-core-sub' is in the Virtual Network 'tier0-vnet'.
Ok The Virtual Network 'tier0-vnet' is in correct region.
Ok The Peering is not needed, because both worker and controller are connected to the virtual network 'tier0-vnet'.
Failed The Service Endpoint from virtual network 'tier0-vnet' and subnet 'private-core-sub' to Microsoft.Storage doesn't exist.
Ok The Network Security Group 'lxtveeamsvr01-nsg' exists in default subscription.
Ok The Network Security Group 'lxtveeamsvr01-nsg' is in correct region.
We do not use Public Service EndPoints but Private EndPoints.
Does VBA support Private Endpoints for its communications ?
Thanks,
TH

Re: VBA : Worker
Hi, did you already open a support case for assistance? Can you let us know the case ID if so?
All we can advise here is to follow the user guide on worker configuration.

Try going into your storage account -> Networking blade and under "Firewall and virtual networks" select the radio button "Allow access from: selected network" and then add your VNET to the list.

Re: VBA : Worker Status failed due to Public Endpoints
Seen the docs, we will look at creating a veeam dedicated Service endpoint in way of communicating thru our private endpoint
for stepping further in our tests with VBA(1.x)
I will open a case if still failing.
Thanks for your quick assistance !
