VM not display in policy

Post by fla »

Hello,

We currently configure for Backup for Azure to backup an Azure subscription.
In the configuration policy we are able to see the resource groups but not the Virtual Machines or the other resources.
When I start the policy no data are backup.

Support case is #04537168

Could you help us?

Regards,
François

Hi,
You can only backup VM, you cannot backup other resources.
To view VMS in a resource group, you must first select the region.

Hi Francois,

This is a bit hard to troubleshoot without insight so please continue working with support as they may need a remote session to understand what is going on. If you have configured the Azure subscription and backup repositories correctly - you should be able to view Virtual Machines and add those to the backup policy.

Hi,

Any update on this issue?

I have the exact same problem.

New setup, everything's up to date, when creating a policy, I don't see any Virtual Machines on the wizard.

Case #04561777, opened last week, no news from the support yet.

Hi Hugo, thanks for sharing. You have opened a support case on Dec 24th with an Evalutation Version (?). Please give support some time.

Sharing resolution. I simply recreated everything from scratch, and I can now see all my VMs, it was a new setup so lost nothing in the process.
