Both options in my opinion should work. Can I ask to create a support call for this? Put the case ID here and the outcome after investigation from our engineers.
Moving these 2 folders might be a temporary workaround (I am not even sure if it will work) but your original needs to work also. So if it doesn't, I need to get this into a system as a bug for fixing for the next version
