Mail search issue

Hello,

Does anyone know if when searching the repository for a specific email address - if I can do this via powershell or via the database back end - as currently when searching - after 1-2 days of enumerating and searching it crashes out.

Meaning I cant find what I need- I dont have the exact error - but essentially its like it's timing out.

So is their another way of finding a specific email.

Hi Ross,

A 2-days search definitely doesn't look like a normal behavior. Please open a support case and post your case ID in this thread, so that we could track the investigation.

Seems to crash each time.

This was a trial - my support has expired - basically the error is - 'Unable to read beyond the end of the stream'

Ross,

Can you send me logs from the folder: C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup\ExchangeExplorer\Logs ? My email is polina.vasilyeva@veeam.com.
9.5.0.1536 is a Veeam Backup & Replication 9.5 build (and it's a different solution from Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365). To recover/export Microsoft Exchange items, Veeam Backup & Replication uses the Veeam Explorer tool, and it seems that your issue can be related to this tool. I'll check the logs and get back to you.
