v 1.5 stuck at "Calculating"

Post by MAS »

About a week ago we performed maintenance on our core switch which disconnected Veeam Backup for Office 365 1.5 server from the proxy server and from the internet. We completed the maintenance, verified that the Veeam Backup for Office 365 1.5 server could communicate with both the proxy and the internet. Since then, the office 365 backup jobs have remained at "Connecting to organization ..." and they show "Mailboxes: Calculating..." The duration is now 122 hours and I don't have cause to think that this will end successfully.

1. What needs to happen to resume backups?

2. Is this issue expected to be resolved with the production release?

Thank you,

Was the VBO 1.5 server still running the moment you did the maintenance?

Trying to figure out what can cause this behavior.

Yes, it was. I'm looking through the logs to be sure that I haven't overlooked something basic. I'll add them if I find something suspicious.

Yes, keep us informed. PM me a download location for the logs which I can share internally to investigate if we can't find immediately what is wrong
thanks

Just as information for everyone. This is a confirmed bug in the BETA code and already fixed so it will be gone by GA. The proxy can get stuck if it loses connection with the internet. Restarting the proxy is the workaround for the beta
