Veeam Backup for Office 365 - Objects counter stops at 174

Post by dmaunder »

I have a customer with 45 users. When I backup the entire tenant, when the object counter in the stats gets to 174, it doesnt go any higher. There is also some sort of limit of the number of simultaneous backups in place, so as objects are completed others start, but the total number of objects never goes above 174. Running v2.0.0.594

Hi Daryl, where exactly does this counter stand and stop? Are you talking about the job log or do you mean it only backs up 174 objects and nothing more?

I am talking about the number of objects the statistics page shows on the job, but I think there is no issue and I was just being confused by the limit of 64 threads. Close this and I will just look at it more closely.

Daryl,

64 threads is the default value, and you can increase it up to 256 if needed.
The number of objects in job's summary matches the number of processed mailboxes (or archives, or OneDrive accounts, or SharePoint sites - depending on your job configuration); while the number of items processed inside those objects stands for individual files, emails and so on.
