Hi,
I see at https://www.veeam.com/blog/comprehensiv ... rding_data in the "Key Considerations for Salesforce Backup Solutions" section that encryption measures are important.
What is the recommended method to do encryption for Salesforce backup data currently and is native encryption for Veeam Backup for Salesforce on the roadmap?

Re: Backup Encryption
Hello Eric,
Thanks for asking, good question. With current version, you can set storage level encryption for Files drive and PostgreSQL database drive when deploying the infrastructure. This encryption is transparent for the product. In the next version, we are planning to introduce the product-side encryption for selected fields (up to 10 fields per object), to encrypt data as it is written to PostgreSQL. This will protect the data from DBAs as well. Of course, this will come at performance cost.
