Hello VKvm
Is this for Veeam Backup & Replication or Veeam Backup for Salesforce?
The case was opened for VBR, but this is the Salesforce forum.
Best,
Fabian

Hi, I had a similar error the day before. The Error Msg is missleading. It's probably about your eMail Account configuration in the Alerts.
I got it running with my Office 365 with modern authentication.

Thanks for reporting and sorry for the issue. This issue is related to restriction that was introduced in v2 to have credentials on the SMTP server. This requirement will be lifted in the next patch.
Meanwhile, you can sent authentication to the SMTP server.

Hello-
I installed the patch that came out today and am still having this issue with the exact same error whether I have authentication enabled or not.
Any other suggestions to try?

Hello, we're not aware of any related patch releases recently. If you received it from your support engineer, please continue working with them. This is not a support forum. Thanks
