Hi,

I have a question concerning the licencing.

All Salesforce users must be licensed
What exactly is meant by this? This is probably about the active salesforce user licenses, isn't it? "Permissions Set licences" and "Feature licences" are irrelevant for the Veeam Backup for Salesforce licence, aren't they?

Are Field Service related objects/fields/metadata also backed up ?

Users are calculated as “Salesforce user licenses" that are reported by the Salesforce. Only the total used SF user licenses are counted and other Salesforce platform license types are ignored. Licenses are counted for production instances, all sandboxes are excluded.

I think that field Service related objects/fields/metadata are then also restorable ?

Yes, however, not available through the restore wizard, but can be manually restored back. See the release notes under known issues and limitations: https://www.veeam.com/veeam_backup_sale ... tes_rn.pdf

@jonguerre Field Service is restorable but marked as "unsupported in v1" due to some known errors with *Share objects restores. Those will be removed in the next release.
