Salesforce Throttling
Has anyone run into Salesforce throttling backup or restore jobs? The Salesforce documentation makes it clear they may throttle activity at https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleVi ... 939&type=1. I know with the Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 product the throttling from Microsoft definitely affects SharePoint and OneDrive backups. Would the Salesforce throttling activities affect Veeam Backup for Salesforce product with the RTO and RPO that could be provided?

Re: Salesforce Throttling
No, we haven't seen such errors/issues related to SF throttling. If SF slows down responses, backup/restore will retry requests for a few times, trying to reduce amount of requested data each time. If this won't help, then stop with failed status.
It's safe from backup perspective, but it's not recommended to run restore if customer knows that his SF org is in throttling mode
