11.0.1.1261 P20211123 Visual Bug?

Post by QoX8x »

Veeam Case #05251828

Not sure if anyone is seeing this but I seem to be having a visual bug in the VB&R console.

In the section where you can see currently running jobs (Home->Last 24 Hours->Running (x)). The X number shows the correct number of currently running jobs but the list of jobs shown is greater and shows jobs that say they have completed in the job log with an incorrect status.

If I reboot the VB&R server then this seems to clean-up the jobs, but they do come back. It's not always the same jobs that get stuck but I'm wondering if anyone else has seen the issue.

P20211123 should have resolved the F5 flaw according to: https://www.veeam.com/kb4245
But I can also confirm it still occurs with several of our customers, even on the most recent build.

Well now I feel stupid.

Yes this has cleared them off, I would have thought that closing the console and re-opening would have forced a refresh but ugh.

F5 is just a workaround.
The refresh bug should have been fixed with P20211123 according to KB4245:
Resolved Issues
User interface: some UI nodes may show outdated job status information, requiring users to press F5 to refresh the view and actualize it.
But I can confirm we still see it even in P20211211.
