Greetings,
Recently upgraded from 12.0.x to 12.1. Our Windows PC are configured to use a standard user account normally. I do have a privileged account in order to do installs and updates when needed.
When I first launched VB&R on my PC, it prompted that it needed to be updated. Normal. It then prompted for my privileged account to complete. Again normal. Everything is updated and seems to work. However, each time I now launch the VB&R app, it comes up with this error:
We couldn't create the data directory
Microsoft Edge Can't read and write to its data directory:
C:\Users\<priv account>\AppData\Local\Veeam\Backup\EBWebView
Please advise and thanks

Re: 12.1 Upgrade now has an Edge error
Hello - this is not a support forum, as explained in its very caption or (in greater details) when you click New Topic. Please always open a support case when you encounter an error, as opposed to posting it here. Thank you for understanding.

Hi @B.F
Something like this happened to me, the problem is that your Windows Server (Backup Server) cannot recognize *.html files created by Veeam; configure your browser to open your HTML and that's it.
I don't needed Support this time.
Greetings
I hope this helps you.
