Veeam VCP providers forum
Hi all,
we created a new forum for users working for partners that signed up to the VCP (Veeam Cloud Provider) forums. Here you can discuss about anything related to Veeam and service providers.
The access to the forum is moderated. In order to get access to the forum, you should follow these instructions:
- the user should be already registered to the forums
- his/her company should be a VCP partner (we check the email domain used to register into the forums or ask additional info)
- go to User Control Panel in this forum, select Usergroups, select “Veeam Cloud Provider” and the action “join selected”
Once the user is verified, the user is approved to access to the forum. To speed up the authorization process, please edit the field "Occupation" with the company name, so we can verify the VCP status quicker.
Luca.

Good morning Luca,
I received your PM, but am unable to reply to it as the forum reports "This feature is not available, you may need to participate more." I updated the occupation section of my profile with the appropriate information.

Re: Veeam VCP providers forum
Hey Luca,
I've been trying to join the "Cloud & Service Providers Forum" --- but not having any luck. My company is currently a Veeam Certified Service Provider, providing Veeam Cloud Connect to it's customers. I am also testing the Veeam Availability Console beta for our company.
I'd like to be able to post questions and get feedback in the Cloud/Service Providers Forum" ---- Is there anything that is keeping me from joining that group?
My company is registered in the Veeam VCSP directory as: Venyu Solutions, Inc ---OR--- EATEL
wsellers@venyu.com
william.sellers@eatel.com
Please let me know.
THANKS!
Will

Re: Veeam VCP providers forum
Hi all,
as a note for future readers, in this case it was used one email address for the forum, while the email address used for Veeam portal and other "official" communications was from another domain. As we check primarily the email address to approve people, be sure that the email address used on the forum is the same you use for the Veeam propartner portal.
Thanks,
Luca

Re: Veeam VCP providers forum
Only indirectly related to the topic but would it make sense to also create a forum for regular partners, or all partners in general?

Re: Veeam VCP providers forum
I am afraid the only questions from partners that are better placed in private subforums are those the team behind this forum cannot answer anyway sales, pricing, discounts etc.
And I don't see any reason to have a private forum for technical questions, since all of those are of equal interest to end users.

Re: Veeam VCP providers forum
Well Anton you're probably right; some topics which I don't want to discuss in public wont be answered in a private forum either
