Access to admin-share from Veeam server?

Hi,
I'm also running in an unfreeze error when backing up an Exchange 2010SP1 with B&R (230HF2). I have opened a case with Veeam support.
One thing support demands is: I have to be able to access the admin$-share of the Exchange-VM from the Veeam-server. Afaik open ports are no longer necessary in B&R V5?
Do I really have to open my firewalls?

Correct, that is not necessary - but if they are open, the engine will go over the network to VM. Otherwise, it will failover to networkless operation. I would guess that this request was more of troubleshooting step "see if that helps". Thanks.
