active full + forward incremental

How many restore points can you have after an active full before the sure backups and restore become too slow ?
I planning to have an active full + 27 restore points and every month do an active full because I think there are faster then synthetic full
Are 27 vib restore points to much to have a performant restore of the 27ste restore point , I'll will have 18 sata disk in one volume

It also depends on the size of the particular backup job. General recommendation for forward incremental backup mode is not to have more than 30 VIB files in the chain between full backups (i.e. perform at least monthly fulls). Btw, here is a good reading on that.
