We finally got our second repository setup just to handle the copy job for gfs retention. Copy job has been running for a couple of weeks and working as expected.
We have about 3 months of backups in the primary repository since we switched to Veeam. The copy job just shows gfs since it started, so only has 2 weekly's so far.
Is there any way to have the existing copy job pickup the previous 2-1/2 months of backups to include for gsf? Not a huge deal - since such as short time, and most of it testing and figuring out how all this works.
It seems most discussions I've found, deal more with offsite seeding or importing from outside sources. Both repositories are local to the lan.

Re: Add backups to existing copy job
No, since backup copy job copies only the latest VM state.

Re: Add backups to existing copy job
I figured as much, just thought I'd ask. Would be a nice feature in the future though...
