Hello Veeam'ler,

i try the product 'Veeam Backup and Replication' and will add the vcenter to the veeam infrastructur panel. Is it permitted that i add the vcenter appliance or can i only add the vcenter windows version?
if vcenter appliance allowed, which credentials i must use? the 'root' at vcenter appliance?

VMware vCenter Server Appliance Build 2183109
Veeam Backup And Recovery Free Edition

I thanks everyone for this virtual moment.

You can add the VCSA. I used the AD user credentials as we integrated the VCSA in our AD.

You can use the Administrator@vsphere.local credentials also.

The suggested accounts are both good obviously to make all work, but maybe on a production environment you may want to create a user with the least privileges neede. You can refer to the required permission document: ... ssions.pdf
