Hi
Case ID #04283850
We currently have replication setup between two sites with layer 2 FC connecting them.
I have the following:
1) VEEAM (VM) in the DR side
2) Physical Proxy in the Production side
3) Virtual Proxy in the DR side.
I want to add a Physical Target Proxy on my DR site for full layer 2 replications
My Question is: Do I need to Zone the Target Proxy to the Production Storage or can it just be zoned to the DR Storage
Regards

Re: Adding Direct SAN Target Proxy to VEEAM
Hello,
and welcome to the forums
I asked support to close the case, because it is a "how-to" question. Support helps with "it's broken" issues.
Most customers do not do any direct SAN replication, because direct SAN is only used for initial replication. All other replications are not with direct SAN.

Best regards,
Hannes
