Hallo
When I install a agent on a computer through B&R Console it needs to be able to access the admin$ on the Computer.
Our computers are non domain joined and the default "Administrator" Account of Windows is disabled because of security.
When I (or veeam) tries to access admin$ with another local user on the computer who is in the administrator group it fails.
It seems I can only access the admin$ with the default "administrator".
Can you shed some light into if it is possible to access admiN$ with a local user account (but with admin rights/in administrator group) that is not the default "administrator"?
Thanks

Re: Agent Installation: Admin$ with different user?
Hi
If your user is not the built in "administrator" account, you need to disable Remote UAC on the target machine. That's a limitation from Microsoft.
Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
DWORD: LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy
Value: 1
