agent/Perl script location on Linux repository

Post by sketchy »

The documentation doesn't seem to specify the location that Veeam will drop the agent/perl script(s) at runtime on a Linux repository. Is this documented anywhere?

Well, since it a runtime "temporarly" deployed, it's in /tmp ;)

Hi Pete,

Out of curiosity, what you're trying to achieve with this?

Thanks!

Hi Luca,

I simply wanted to look at it to better understand what it was doing. I had looked in /tmp while a job was running, but didn't see anything more than the log file generated.

Hi Pete, based on the existing threads in these forums, I can confirm that the runtime you're looking for should be in a tmp folder.

But if the reason is to look at the perl script, you better look at it at source location rather than trying to "catch" it in the repository ;)
There is another existing thread where you can learn about the script.

Luca.
