Hi,
I am looking for a way to be alerted to when a job fails to use a storage snapshots and reverts to VM snapshots.
It appears to not flag this as a failure or warning in the job.
The only place you see it is in the details of the VM within the job and even then it has a green tick!
Is there a way in Veeam one to create an alarm when this happens?
We have Veeam 9.5 update 2 and Veeam One Update 2. We will be upgrading in the new year to update 3.

Hi Iain,
I'll take this request into account for the next version of Veeam ONE to add into assessment report and predefined alarm.
Thanks for the feedback!

You can create a script that will parse task session log and send an email in case it finds entry about job failing to leverage storage snapshot. The script can be then set as post-job activity. Thanks. Is there a way in Veeam one to create an alarm when this happens?

One more workaround is Veeam Backup & Replication Content Pack if you use vRealize Log Insight. The log is collected there and you can create an alarm based on it.
