An issue Veeam 9 update 1 – BackupCopy.
I lost a disk in a repository and needed to change the drive. On this drive was filecopy job data. Didn't try and save because it is rebuildable. (second copy)
I did try to do an Active Full it says ok pending but there is only a couple of K of data. Tried sync now same result. Pending waiting for change.
I don't want to run the backup master job until tonight but want to run the BC to keep the normal backup times.
The disk is/was not set as removable but seems to be treated as one.
After running the master job, the BC job gets Error: File does not exist (vbk)
Now when I click Active full (BC job) it does what it copies all the data to the new disk. Unfortunately for me I can’t run the other jobs until tonight and I won’t be here to click active full. Will need to wait another day

The described behavior looks expected. You've lost the disk and the next run of the backup copy job fails since it cannot find existing files. Currently manual active full works provided there's a new restore point to copy within the copy interval, which was not the case until the regular backup job ran.

It would be nice if when you click active full if the files are missing from the drive. In the past I had to make an extra copy during the day when I cant run a new backup.

We're going to change the manual active full behavior in the next version.
