Analyzing "Busy" data in statistics

Post by marius roma »

Looking at the statistics of my jobs I see "busy" values like:
"Busy: Source 50% > Proxy 38% > Network 97% > Target 15%"
for a replica or
"Busy: Source 99% > Proxy 46% > Network 2% > Target 58%"
for a backup.
How can interpret such data in order to take the necessary actions and maybe investiments?
Is there any document on this subject?
How can I get information about past jobs, as I see such information in "Statistics" but not in "Reports"?
Regards
Marius

Hi Mario, have you had a chance to review the sticky FAQ topic? See right next to the New Topic button. Thanks.

You can use arrow keys to move between job runs in the Statistics window and review previous job session logs.

Hi Guys
I see this looks like a very old post but with no clear answer, I`m also looking for information on how to interpret these results of the backup job just to get an idea which numbers are acceptable and which ones are not so I can remidiate accordingly:

Load: Source 66% > Proxy 6% > Network 22% > Target 32%

To be precise, I need to know which % numbers are acceptable for each and which % numbers need one`s attention?

Thanks in advanced

The FAQ I referenced above provides pretty clear answer to this in the very first entry? Any numbers are acceptable, but numbers close to 100% mean the given component is becoming the bottleneck.
