Hello all.
I have been asked to check if the Veeam Backup & Replication software will be impacted by any issues connecting to IPs in certain countries, for example Russia and Ukraine. We still run with a socket-based licensing scheme.
Thank you.

Re: Any impact on Veeam Backup & Replication from lack of connectivity to Russia / Ukraine
Hi Andy,
There is no impact, as Veeam Backup & Replication is designed to operate in fully isolated environments (with no internet connection and dependencies on external resources).
Thanks!

Thank you. How does the software check and update licences?
Andy

This functionality is disabled by default and is not essential. If you enable it, the software will periodically contact the license server running in Amazon EC2.
