Any way to see single files of an oracle redo log backup?

Post by cxwsrei »

Hi all

is there any way to see the names of each single (redo log) file that is saved by an oracle redo log file backup ?
I´m using BR 9.5 Update 2.

Following extract of the log messages of the log backup of Oracle instance "BWP":
Backed up 46.6 MB of redo logs for 1 databases: BWP at 1.3 MB/s with bottleneck: Target (Network)

I like to know what is the content/file list of the 46.6 MB that has been backup - for example for cross check purposes .

Is there any way/any option ?

Regards
Stefan

Hi Stefan, information about particular logs is available in the log backup task log and in the agent log on Oracle server itself (C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup\[Job Name]_Oracle_Redo_Log_backup folder). However, there's no easy way to match this data with what you see in the job session, other than try to judge on time of the operation and log size (which is rounded in the job session record you've mentioned in your post).
