Hi There,
I would like to know how the rules are decided in the Application Aware Processing options(AAPO) window in case there are several matches.
In my case we are using vmware tag's(BackupSQL 001) to select the VM's for this job. This tag is listed in the AAPO, i also added a No_Guestinteraction tag to skip, and a Translog2H tag to add transaction log backup.
So the VM will always match BackupSQL 001 tag. but if i add the Translog2H to machine as well, which rule is Veeam supose to use ?

Re: Application Aware Processing options rules
Hi Henrik, exclusions have a priority, so if you use some tag to add VMs to the job and then another one in exclusions, the VMs having the second tag will be excluded from AAIP processing. Thanks!

Re: Application Aware Processing options rules
Hi Alexander,
Thanks for your answer.
The question wasn't about how to use the virtual machine selection windows and exclusions. Its when configuring the application aware functions.
Its the window behind "Processing Settings":
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=100
In that window its possible to select VM's via tag's, but there are no fixed order in how it handles them. So how is it suppose to handle the VM if it mactches several ?

Re: Application Aware Processing options rules
Hello there, i just run across the same issue, initally tags gather the VMs default setting is also in AAP option to run with these tags, no i'd like to add an "no aap" tag and exclude some, but somehow it still looks like the VMs gets aap processed as they still match the first tag (combination) too...
