Hi
We use Veeam 9.5 and i want to backup a VM running Windows 2012 R2 running Oracle 12c standard database .
I am looking in to Application-aware processing and want to enable this.
Will it be enough if i only turn this on (Enable application-aware processing) and leave everything else by default ?
I see there is another button (Applications.) with additional options and here i can see an Oracle tab, it states "Use guest credentials" and "Do not delete archived logs".
I do not have any Oracle access or user so will i still be able to get some benefits without any specifying here ?
BR

Re: Application Aware processing - Oracle
Hi Elefanten,
Yes, you will be able to restore databases by enabling AAIP.
However, I'd recommend you to review this article about Oracle backup job settings in our UG.
Thanks!
