Hello,
Quick question... pretty new to Veeam... I noticed that my Exchange logs arent truncating, then I found out that I should be using Application-Aware Image Processing in my job.
My question is this... I've got about 40 VMs I am backing up.... 38 of these do not require Image Processing at all... 10 of these are Linux not using domain credentials at all.. do I have to manually disable by editing the Processing for all of the VMs that don't need it by clicking "Advanced" and setting "Disable application processing" and "Do not truncate logs" or is Veeam smart enough to know that on its own?
Thanks

Re: Application-Aware Processing
Hello - correct, we are smart enough not to attempt VSS processing against Linux VMs

Re: Application-Aware Processing
As I know, you can check both the options to use vmware tools quiesce (in the advanced options) and veeam aaip. Veeam will automatically use the former or the latter according to the guest operating system
