Hi,
We have a virtual machine server that we back up everyday. It failed yesterday due to "Error: Authentication failed because the remote party has closed the transport stream".
Anyone know what this means?
Any help is appreciated
Cheers,
Jack

Give some more information about your setup please. Is the repository on the same network/VLAN as the backup server, does it continue to fail or did it happen once, what kind of repository do you use?

I'm pretty sure you'll see this if the VM reboots (or goes offline) at a certain point in the backup process.
Support will be able to advise by reviewing the logs for the VM and the other backup components.
