Hi Folks,
I must confess I don't know much about azure and wanted to throw out a quick question. If I put a vm in a Lan, install VBR and then install endpoints on the other Azure vms to point to the VBR server (i.e. as if it was a normal lan with physical servers) would this work?
Again I apologize if this is a simple question I just wanted to double check. I really want to use Veeam but by the looks of it right at this point and time nothing is available. Fastcp for azure seems to be a file level copy tool.
thanks

Re: Azure vm backup
Your understanding is correct. The described scenario should work smoothly. If I put a vm in a Lan, install VBR and then install endpoints on the other Azure vms to point to the VBR server (i.e. as if it was a normal lan with physical servers) would this work?
Keep in my mind, though, that Bare Metal Recovery in case of disaster might be a bit tricky.
Thanks.
