Hello
one simple question, in one secure env we will have bloombase file encryption (between servers esx/windows and netapp). As an backup solution is veeam considered due its obvious advantages. does B&R care about encrypted luns ?
netapp storage lun will be encrypted with bloombase on the route between servers and storage box (at least that was my understanding)

Re: B&R and bloombase file encryption
Hi,
B&R can backup VMs from encrypted LUN without any problems as long as your virtualization host is able to use those LUNs. Also your Veeam proxy servers have to have an access to virtual disks that are stored on that LUN. Please see this article to learn more about transport mode requirements.
Thank you.
