B&R Inline Encryption - Feature Request

Post by bigB » Nov 13, 2012 9:29 pm

Sales asked that we make this request through the forums. We would like to see inline encryption added as an option to the replication function within B&R for use in situations where VPNs are a bit of a challenge.

Am I wrong, or is already there? When you configure a proxy to act in network mode you can choose to encrypt traffic via SSL...

Hi Luca, this setting refers to network traffic encryption between ESX(i) host and proxy server (source data retrieval) only.

Could you please elaborate on specific situations when VPN is a challenge?
