Hello experts,
I was wondering if Veeam can directly back up files/folders from a storage array. For example, if a Linux physical server is connected to a 3PAR storage and this server has data on the 3PAR. Can we configure Veeam to back up directly from 3PAR without going through the physical server?
Right now, the Veeam agent is installed on the Linux server and Veeam is taking backup from the agent.
Thanking you in advance and have a nice day

Re: Back up files/folders directly from storage
Hello,
At the moment the Veeam Agent is the way to go, but we are working towards the new feature with the necessary capabilities for Veeam B&R.
It was mentioned a few times, for example, here.
Thanks!
