back-up of VMs with guest-attached iscsi targets?

I briefly looked through the documentation and I don't see an obvious way to do this. I'm using EqualLogic storage and Dell's best practice for Exchange server is to attach database and log volumes (on a one db per volume basis) from within the VM itself and the MPIO that comes with their host integration toolkit. This is required to do application-aware snapshots. Is it possible to back these up with veeam?
