Backing up PowerBI Server (app.powerbi)
Does anyone have a method of backing up reports from PowerBI? Backing up reports created using the Windows client is no problem. Difficulty is when the reports are modified in a browser - the only way to work if you have multiple reports with the same data). MS don't provide versioning or file restore of any type, so would love to be able to integrate with Veeam.

Re: Backing up PowerBI Server (app.powerbi)
Hello,
just to make sure... you are talking about a virtual machine, that is hosting your PowerBI on VMware / Hyper-V?
From a backup perspective, everything on that server is backed up per default (application consistent with VSS if you enabled it).
Is it possible, that you question is more about how to restore that application?
Thanks,
Hannes

which "Windows client" do you mean? The "Windows Server Backup" which can be installed as a role? Can you maybe explain, what that "Windows client" is doing? Then we might find a way to do something similar.Backing up reports created using the Windows client is no problem
