Backing up to NAS ioSafe

Post by pavzaq »

Hello All,

This is my first time posting, and my first time working w/ Veeam and a NAS device. Previously, when backing up VMs in a Hyper-V environment, I would just allow Veeam to select a USB attached storage device and away it would go. But in this new setup, I have a Synology NAS iOsafe that I am trying to use. I have created the shared folder that I want to back up to, I have applied the correct credentials, and I can see the folder from any machine regardless of the OS. However, I cannot get Veeam to see the shared folder/directory so that it can back up the VMs to it. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks!
Chris

Hello Chris.
I have created the shared folder that I want to back up to, I have applied the correct credentials
To clarify, was the file share added to Veeam B&R as CIFS repository? Thanks.
