Hello,
I'm evaluating Veeam and would like to test the ability to back up my virtualized instance of vCenter. I've already done a few tests backing up other VM's, with Veeam talking to vCenter to get its information (in other words, I've already added my vCenter server to the Veeam configuration). Now, from what I've read, I understand I have to add the specific physical ESX server that vCenter is running on as a "source" server, then create a separate job. However, when I try to add the ESX server, I get the error "Server blah already exists in the database". Have I missed something?
Thanks!
Bob

Re: Backing up virtualized vCenter - can't add ESX server
Hello, you should add it by IP address versus DNS name.
