Backup 6.5 \ Incremental Backups

Hi

Just need to clarify if I am doing this correct, or any suggestions appreciated.

Veeam Backup version 6.5 is being used to backup to disk - this then goes to tape daily using Backup Exec. (the complete veeam folder goes to tape daily)

I have attached a screen shot of the Advanced Settings
Under days -I have set the option to Friday.

Not sure if I should be selecting the Active Full Backup option?

is there anyone who can help me configure my backup job? i spoke to support but they did not provide much help!

According to the best practice referenced by Alexander, even with weekly synthetic full backup, you should still run active full backup once a month or so. Thus, in order to stick to the best practice, you should enable monthly full active backup.
