Backup And Recovery MS. SQL Sharepoint and Domain Controller

Post by lluisclemente »

Hi, I've been watching webcast, searching in the forums and other sites, but couldn't find solution.
We're making Backup of 1 DC 1 MSSQL 1 Sharepoint server, with Veeam B&R 6.1.
I think we have a main problem that's been scheduled to solve, one DC is Physical machine second DC is Virtual.

I was able to recover and working status the virtual DC as standalone, but I'm experiencing problems with SQL and Sharepoints.

Are there any special considerations for a full recovery of this kind of servers, or should we work on the main key 2 DC virtual servers.

Thanks And regards.

Lluis, what kind of problems do you have? Have you already opened a support case?

Here is a good topic covering all the aspects of SQL Server backup and recovery with Veeam B&R, please review.

Thanks foggy, the main problem was with Sharepoint, but I'm sure that topic will help . I'll try to look deeper.
I already found that before asking the question and watched the Webminar, but couldn't solve my issue.

I did nothing but restoring the DC again and now it works ...
Will check again but it seems ok.
Nothing special had to be done to backup and restore those servers in 6.1, just have all roles on the dc , thing we previously checked.

Regards.
