I have made several backups of a virtual machine after each other. That means one full and several following backups. Then I have tried to recover a file that I have put into a directory in the VM before a backup after the full backup. This file is not visible in the Backup Browser if I select the restore point of the backup. The Backup Browser shows the state of the VM after the full backup not after any follwing backup. I have tried this with different changes in the VM (delete a file, change a file) and after each change I made a backup.
It does not matter which restore point I select to restore a file the Backup Browser only shows the state of the VM after the full backup. It seems that there is a bug in the software.
Nevertheless a restore of a entire VM restores the correct state.

Hello Stefan, this happens when you are using network backup mode, and backing up VM that has existing snapshots.
This peculiarity is documented in the release notes:
- If a VM has snapshots, Backup Browser mounts the VM file system to the earliest snapshot.
