Hi,
I'm doing a backup copy to a remote site between two linux repositories but I cannot make the throttling work!
The IPs are thoose one:
VBR Server: 172.22.11.2 (netmask /16)
Source repository: 172.22.10.51 (netmask /16)
Desatination repository: 172.21.196.12 (netmask /24)
I've inserted the following Global Network traffic rules:
Source Range: 172.22.10.1 - 172.22.10.254
Destination Range: 172.21.196.1 - 172.21.196.254
Throttling: 1Mbps
Source Range: 172.22.11.1 - 172.22.11.254
Destination Range: 172.21.196.1 - 172.21.196.254
Throttling: 1Mbps
Even with thoose setting the traffic is still 100% of the available bandwidth.
Any hints on what I'm doing wrong or what's wrong in my VBR?
Regards
Giuseppe

Re: Backup Copy and Throttling
Hello,
Can you please confirm that there is no other NICs on theses hosts that can be used to establish the connection between each other? Thanks.

Re: Backup Copy and Throttling
Yes, in fact both the repositories have only one NIC.
