Backup copy failing

I recently created a server 2016 vm on one of my esxi host. I have created a backup job that saves it to a veeam repository. no issues with it. I have also created a backup copy to save to the same location it fails. I get the following error - initial copy did not complete and will resume on the next copy interval. Initiated by Veeam One Monitor. Can i not have the backup job and backup copy files be saved to the same location. Kindly advise

Do you mean the same backup repository? You cannot point the backup copy job to the same repository as it uses as a source but you can create a separate repository pointing to the other folder in the same location.
