Hello
I have a set of restore points as part of a backup copy job. How do I know which ones of the restore points are either the weekly, monthly or yearly restore points? Currently I have a number of full backup restore points and several incremental backup restore points but I am not sure if any of the full backups correspond to weekly or monthly restore points.
Thanks

Re: Backup Copy GFS - What restore points are Weekly, Monthl
Martin, you can check this in the backup properties window, if you right-click the particular backup (under Backups node) and select Properties. Weekly restore points will be marked with "W", monthly - with "M", etc. Full backup in the regular chain will be marked with "R". You can also check the file name for the corresponding mark.

Great! Thanks for that. I can see that the restore points are Weekly and Monthly. What does the 'R' restore point beside a full backup mean?

Yep, this one is the full backup that starts the simple retention chain of increments.
