I've got a backup copy job active which copies vm's on a daily basis.
Now i've made a change in my primary backup job and some vm's should be populated from another backup job in the copy job.
To clarify:
Vm1 is in a daily backup job and in a weekly backup job.
The copy job copies vm1 from the daily backup job to the copy job. I want vm1 to be copied from the weekly backup job.
Does Veeam handle this change properly or do i have to delete the vm from the copy job location?

Re: Backup copy job: add/remove vm's
In this case, you should specify either weekly backup job (Add -> From jobs) or the backups (Add -> From backups) produced by it as a source for backup copy job. Thanks.

Re: Backup copy job: add/remove vm's
That's exactly what i would like to do. But the vm processed by the daily backup job is already in the copy job repository.
Do I have to delete it from this repository or does Veeam sync the vm according to the lastest performed backup?

Re: Backup copy job: add/remove vm's
No, you don't have to delete backup files manually. The old restore points of "daily" VM will be present in backup copy job, until the retention policy takes place and full backup moves forward in the backup chain.
Thanks.
Thanks.
