I have two sites (A and B), currently Site A has the vCenter cluster and the primary ReFS repository (ReFS is working great btw!). We now would like those backup jobs at Site A to be replicated to Site B so we have a second copy of historical data. My plan is to setup a Backup Copy job (for each Backup Job) to Site B. My question is, will the the Backup Jobs residing at Site B use ReFS or is it better to use NTFS dedup? I know that if you simple copy/paste Veeam backup data from one server to another as the ReFS savings are lost, so I wondering if that is the same when you use a Backup Copy Job?
Site A:
- vCenter cluster
- Primary ReFS repository
Site B:
- ReFS Repository or NTFS + Dedupe?

Re: Backup Copy Job and ReFS support
Data will inflate on being copied offsite, however, if the target repository also has ReFS integration, it will produce its own space savings.
