Re: Backup Copy Job: Copy only Full Backups
So as far as I understood from this topic it is possible to move full backups on a weekly basis to another repository with GFS retention? Is that still the case if the source backups are forward incremental with weekly active fulls?

Re: Backup Copy Job: Copy only Full Backups
Is it possible to move full backups to another repository with GFS retention or another way on a weekly basis if the source backup jobs are configured as forward incremental with weekly active full?

Do you want to move only fulls but skip incrementals?

Yes exactly.
The source jobs are forward incremental with weekly full backups and I only want to move those.

Re: Backup Copy Job: Copy only Full Backups
Have you considered having Scale-Out Backup Repository with Capacity Tier (move policy enabled) and pointing the backup copy job to it? This way, GFS restore point will be moved to object storage, while others will stay on local on-prem extent? Thanks!

You can also set the copy interval to 7 days, configure weekly fulls and enable the 'Read from source...' check box in the copy job - it will create only full backups weekly.
